On Easter Sunday, the Phillies brought home a strong win for Philadelphia.
Roy Halladay was on the mound and did a tremendous job with 14 strikeouts, one earned run and just one out away from a complete game. Antonio Bastardo came in late in the ninth and recorded the save on his first pitch.
No hitters on the Padres managed to get more than one hit on Halladay while some did not even get any at all.
On the hitting side, Shane Victorino hit an inside the park home run while Ben Francisco and John Mayberry Jr. recorded RBI's.
Great win and sweep for the Pightin's!
